More than just a standard moisture meter, Extech’s MO297 is the tool you need for comprehensive evaluation of moisture levels and other associated parameters.
Compatible with both wood and building materials, the MO297 is both a non-invasive (pinless) moisture meter and can also perform direct-contact moisture measurements using the included MO290-P probe with integrated pins. In addition to moisture content this tester can also be used to calculate humidity levels, measure air temperature, measure surface temperature (using IR technology) and can also calculate vapour pressure, dew point and mixing ratio.
The MO297 displays both a moisture value of the material being tested and another parameter such as air temperature, IR temperature or humidity at the same time (plus analogue bargraph display of moisture content). Built-in memory is also included and up to 20 individual records can be stored on the instrument for easy recall.
As part of their merger with FLIR systems, Extech’s MO297 moisture meter can also wirelessly communicate via Bluetooth with FLIR thermal imaging cameras!
