The Fluke Zero Adapter (3261925) for the 1650 Series of multifunction installation testers is for easy, always reliable, and accurate compensation of test leads and mains cords. This adaptor is for all different kinds of main plugs as well as test accessories like probes, alligator clips, etc.
The Fluke Zero adaptor is designed to make nulling test leads easy! It is designed for use with Fluke’s range of multifunction testers. It is a requirement before using the loop test function on Fluke 1600 series multifunction testers that resistance of the mains test lead (166XMTC) is nulled before carrying out the test. Failing to do so will result on high loop readings and inaccurate results. The design of the zero adaptor allows the user to bridge all the pins of the mains lead together. Once this is done simply press the “Zero” button on the tester and the resistance of the lead will be nulled. The Zero adaptor has also been designed to be used with 2 wire test leads before carrying out continuity tests. The openings of the zero adaptor allow for test probes to be connected firmly together making it easy to null the leads.
